Module objective:

This is a structured grammar course. When the students arrive at it they already know how to differentiate the sounds of the Mayan language, they can write it and they know and understand the conjugations in present and past. So now, it is intended to teach students to have a structured understanding of syntax.

Duration: 10 hours.

  3. Possessive pronouns.
  4. Possessive adjectives.
  5. Demonstrative adjectives.
  6. Qualifying adjectives.
  7. Question forms.
  8. The genre.
  9. Diminutive and augmentative.
  10. Denial.

Audiovisual materials

The course has audiovisual material that helps the student to listening and writing.

At the end of this course, students are expected to know a lot of general vocabulary, know how to form numbers, and know how to number living beings and inanimate objects.

Impact

Students will be able to apply what they have learned in different areas of daily life and have a closer relationship or greater communication with native peoples and communities. Each student will have a positive impact where they can perform based on the topics seen in the lessons and put the Mayan language into practice together with the Mayan speakers.
